Bravo Trailers

bravo trailersBravo Trailers was founded by Mitchell Bender with one goal in mind: to build a great trailer that you can be proud to own. As a 25-year industry veteran who previously founded and built the largest cargo trailer manufacturer in the country, starting Bravo with a clean sheet of paper was a dream come true. Mitch is a hands-on owner who knows and uses his products. You can find him on any given weekend towing a trailer – either racing with his son or hauling motorcycles to a favorite destination. Together with the Bravo team, they are in a unique position to take the industry to a higher level.

The enclosed cargo trailer industry is riddled with chronic problems. Leaking trailers, broken frames, sloppy workmanship, long lead times and poor after-the-sale manufacturer’s support are all real problems to solve. Our mission at Bravo Trailers is to eliminate these problems by building trailers and options that work better, look great and exceed your expectations. These lofty goals can only be attained by a passionate team with the desire to succeed. Mitch Bender, Gary Mackelprang and Kate Lockwood (pictured here) have over 50 years of combined trailer building experience with the determination to get the job done.

Bravo Trailers is starting with a clean sheet approach to trailer manufacturing. We have chosen the best people and given them the tools to get the job done right. We provide a lean manufacturing plant with the entire manufacturing process under one roof. Together with Bravo’s seasoned engineering team and a simpler product line, we’ll achieve our quest for better quality, and a better trailer.

First and foremost, we are trailer people – we use and love trailers! That passion will translate into the best products available. Trailers that work and won’t let you down. Our commitment to deliver the best at competitive prices is steadfast.

The Bravo “BIG 10” is only part of what makes our trailers better. Our people and lean manufacturing facility are critical to our success. Bravo’s well trained workforce understands your satisfaction is the ultimate goal. ALL of our materials including the steel are stored inside. The raw materials are received, frames welded, prepped, painted, wired and finished under one roof. The trailers never leave the building until they are completed. Most other manufacturers store their steel outside, weld inside and then store ready to build frames outside in the weather waiting to go down the production line. Ask for pictures of their plants or ‘Google Earth’ them and take a look.

They offer the “Scout Trailer” – an entry level commercial quality cargo trailer.  “Star Trailer” – a premium commercial quality cargo trailer.  “Icon Trailer” – exceptional motorsports trailer!

Diamond C Trailer

diamondt trailersDiamond C Trailer is an organization of professional people working in the name of progress.  They are a family owned and operated company that operates based on traditional family morals, including honesty, respect, humbleness, and pure integrity.  They are a Texas based manufacturer, in business for over 27 years.  They are a proud and 100% compliant NATM member.   And, a proud sponsor of the NATDA .

Diamond C designs, manufactures, and markets more than 45 diverse models of open flat-bed trailers. They are a custom manufacturer, offering many options for most standard models, and ground-up custom design and manufacturing additionally.  They distribute our products through a network of dealer partners across the United States and in Canada.  They work to develop relationships with these partners that enable us to realize market trends and the desires of trailer users throughout the market.  They maintain their position as an industry leader by continuously demonstrating excellent quality and value, cutting edge innovation, and superior customer service.

Here’s their story-

Kim Crabb worked for a small trailer manufacturer in Mount Pleasant from 1981 to 1984, managing daily operations until the business was closed.  So Kim was left without a job, but more importantly, she was left with lots of trailer knowledge.  After job hunting for a few months, she and Mike (husband and Diamond C co-founder) began to think outside of the box.  When Kim’s employer closed the doors, it left customers without product and employees without jobs.  So in the spring of 1985, Diamond C was born, along with the couple’s oldest son, Jeffery.

The couple started very small, with only two trailer builders plus themselves.  Using Kim’s trailer contacts they were quickly able to pick up a few customers and start moving product.  Mike’s construction and auto/body background, combined with his knack for quality, quickly moved the new Diamond C products into position as a market leader in quality and durability.

Diamond C’s products immediately began to define the brand and promoted, with quality business practices, the quick growth of the business.  By the end of 1989, Diamond C had 60 employees working in Kim and Mike’s pole-barn stacked backyard.  By 1992, Diamond C had outgrown its pole-barn facilities.  When trailers began overflowing into the cow-pasture they knew it was time to move.  So throughout 1992, a crew consisting of Mike and several trailer builders built the plant that Diamond C still occupies today.

The business continued to grow throughout the 90’s, often referred to as the “glory days of the trailer business” in which the market was expanding and there were plenty of sales to go around.  During this time Diamond C made many advances in its manufacturing processes and refined products to not only continue to lead the industry, but to become a benchmark for the industry.  Then, after enjoying years of “predictability,” the market began to change.  With the new millennium came challenges and market conditions that threatened the future of Diamond C.  In 2004 it became evident that for Diamond C to continue to prosper as an industry leader, the business would have to be transformed into a cutting-edge, competition crushing machine, on the inside and out.

Today, still a family owned and operated company, Diamond C maintains an aggressive stance in the market place. The Diamond C Team works passionately each day to progress the company and the trailer industry.  They offer single axle utility, tandem axle utility, auto, motorcycle, equipment, gooseneck, dump  &  custom trailers.  The also offer custom paint jobs.

Is Your Home Safe From Wildfires?

With all the fires we have had recently, we wanted to share this information from a new customer with all of our friends here in El Paso County.  This is a new company called Fire Away.  With their new technology, they believe that they could have saved a significant amount of homes with the Waldo Canyon Fire and the Black Forest Fire.  Those that are rebuilding and can budget this into the build may want to call Dean at 303-434-3584.
